ABOUT

Hello!

I am passionate about working with individuals who are feeling lost, depleted, and disconnected from themselves and their loved ones due to their mental health issues. I love holding space for people who feel like they are trying on multiple versions of themselves to see which is the right fit - and embrace them all as important and valuable. Sometimes people just need another person to sit and listen - I am happy to do that as well. My work with individuals is centered in leading them to validate and learn to regulate their emotions, figure out what they can accept and change, and help them to create a life worth living. I use a balance of irreverence and warmth as part of my style, as we highlight your strengths and brainstorm solutions to your problems. As an Asian-American woman, I am also passionate about providing support for other Asian-Americans and people of color in my community who are searching for a place to explore their identities freely and without judgment.

I am a Licensed Independent Social Work Associate (LSWAIC #SC61309243) and am currently being supervised by Carmen Berzinski,  LICSW. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Washington in 2022. I am also a licensed Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) and have been working in the chemical dependency field for over five years. I have experience working with both individuals and families and hope to provide high quality services to aid them in their path to recovery. While substance use may not be the sole focus of our sessions together, if it is something that is taking a toll on your life, please know that I welcome this in our practice.

Thank you again for your time. I hope to hear from you soon!
